 Founded in 2024 in Vancouver, British Columbia, by Kristoffer Welch, a master finishing carpenter with a passion for excellence in the high-end single-family sector, and Amber Stace, a skilled residential painter with an eye for detail, our mission is to boost productivity and enhance the value of your workflow. Always focused on constant improvement, Kris has been designing simple tools and jigs to increase efficiency on the job for 25 years. Starting from a small 3D print studio with our first tool, we are ambitiously aiming to expand our operations into a comprehensive CNC manufacturing facility. A Horse Bite™  is a special miter clamp adapter that can be added to your favourite quick clamp. Using #6 screws as cleats, the Horse Bite™ changes the clamping angle and allows you to clamp your miter tight while the glue dries. Designed to be an alternative to more expensive options, Horse Bite™ adapters work with your existing quick clamp. We currently offer options for Irwin Mini, Bessey EZ, Bessey EHK and DeWalt Medium quick clamps.

Horse Bite™ quick clamp mitre adapters are designed to be friction fitting. We have tested them with our own clamps to ensure a snug fit, however, manufacturers' tolerances may vary. Please inform us if you have significant difficulties fitting your Horse Bite™ adapter.
